Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Abed’s or Abeds.bb and govern your use of the website made available at and its associated web pages and mobile applications (collectively the "Website"), including all purchases made by you. Abeds.bb, along with its representatives, officers, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliates, parents, employees, and agents (collectively "Harmony" or "we" or "us" or "our"), provide the Website to you subject to the provisions, which you acknowledge, agree to, and consent to by clicking "I Agree" or by using the Website. These Terms include our Privacy Policy, which is available at abeds.bb/privacy-policy and which is hereby incorporated by reference.

As discussed further below, both you and Abed’s agree, with the limited exceptions noted below, to resolve all disputes between you and Harmony through binding arbitration as further provided below. Arbitration means that you and the company are each waiving the right to a jury trial or to participate in class action. 

These Terms may be amended by us from time to time. Please periodically review the controlling, online version of these Terms. By clicking "I Agree" or continuing to use the Website subsequent to us making available an amended version of these Terms, you hereby acknowledge, agree to, and consent to such amendment.

You consent to enter these terms electronically and to storage of records related to these terms in electronic form. 

If you do not agree to these terms you may not access, browse or use the website and should discontinue your activities immediately. If you access our website, you are agreeing to these terms. 

When using the Website, you shall be subject to all displayed rules and policies. Such rules and policies are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms. We may also offer other websites that are governed by different terms.

We do not represent the Website is governed by or operated in accordance with the laws of other nations, or that the Website or any portion of it is appropriate or available for use in any particular location. If you choose to access the Website, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules, and regulations.

 

Delivery & Fulfilment Policy

Currently, we offer in store collection only at our two store locations; Abeds, 30 - 32 Swan Street, Bridgetown, St Michael, BB11000 and Abeds, Sheraton Mall, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, BB15088. Customers will be notified by email after the order is placed and again when your order is available for collection from your chosen store. Customers should direct all queries related to your order, including the status of your order, to onlinestore@abeds.bb.

We strive for next day collection (except for orders placed on a Saturday or bank holiday) for orders placed between Monday - Friday. Orders placed on a Saturday would be available, at the earliest, on the Monday. In some cases, additional processing time might be needed during busy seasons or if stock is being transferred from other locations, in which case collection may take up to 48 hours. Our Customer Care team will reach out regarding any issues and/or subsequent delays.

 

Return & Refund Policy

Exchanges on unused or defective merchandise will only be permitted if accompanied by the tax invoice. Refunds will only be permitted where defective merchandise has been returned, accompanied by the tax invoice. Unless merchandise is defective, exchanges will not be permitted on fabric/textiles specifically measured and cut to customer's instructions.

The Abed's stores country of domicile is Barbados. At this time we only offer in store collection, therefore any defective or unused merchandise to be exchanged, or any defective merchandise to be refunded, must be accompanied by the respective receipt to the store they were collected from in Barbados, with returns being raised with the Store Manager at your collection location. 

Once we receive your item, we will inspect the goods. If your exchange is approved, this will take place there and then at the store. If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment made online. Please note, we will NOT issue you a refund from the stores. The Store Manager will make the E Commerce team aware of the refund, which will be issued upon instruction from the Store Manager off site, but the timeframe in which this is received is governed by your card issuer's policies. If you opt to receive a store credit note instead, this can be issued immediately at the store. 

Should there be any stock outages after your order is placed, our Customer Care team will reach out to inform you to resolve or issue a refund. The timeframe in which you receive this depends on your card issuer's policies.
